Your chance to see Canada like never before is here.

Celebrating Canada’s 150th Anniversary, Canada C3 has launched its signature project – a 150-day sailing journey from Toronto to Victoria via the Northwest Passage.

The ship will travel 23,000 kilometres, exploring Canada from coast to coast to coast, over five months. The expedition will be divided into 15 legs ranging from seven to 12 days, each leg bringing a new group of participants on board to connect with communities and Canadians.

Along with participants, other Canadians will be invited on board, including scientists, artists, Indigenous Elders, historians, community leaders, youth, journalists and educators. Once a participant boards the Canada C3 vessel, they will become the eyes and ears of the rest of Canada. Using art, music, research and storytelling, participants will elevate our collective knowledge and help build human connections.

Honouring the past and looking towards the future, Canada C3 will explore the four key themes of Canada 150: Diversity and Inclusion, Reconciliation, Youth Engagement, and the Environment.

Interested applicants over the age of 18 can apply online to be part of one of the expeditions’ 15 legs.  The journey begins on June 1, 2017 and will run until October 28, 2017.

Travelling through six ecozones, participants will see everything from forests to tundra to sandy beaches.
