Campnab campsite tracker aims to help you nab a BC camping spot

Got all your camping gear ready, but no campsite to call home? Never fear, the internet is here!

Two Vancouver developers have created a service to alert you when spots at your campsite of choice becomes available.

Campnab was developed by Eric Karjaluoto and Eric Shelkie at smashLAB design studio, after they grew frustrated with campsites booked months in advance.

The Campnab website tracks cancellations at campsites and alerts users, so they can go online and book through the official channels.

Pay-per-use scans range from $10 to $20, while membership ranges from $5 to $15 per month, all depending on frequency of scans.

What if nothing becomes available? The Erics put it best on the Campnab website.

“That’s just the way this life works out sometimes, dude/dudette. You’ve got to roll with it.”

Still – here’s hoping!
