IKEA is a great place to go furniture shopping – especially if you want your apartment to look just like everyone else’s.

Sure it’s affordable, easy, and their meatballs are pretty darn moreish too. But there are plenty of more original options to choose from when it comes to furnishing your pad in Vancouver.

So whether you’re moving into new digs or giving your condo a refresh, here are 11 great furniture stores in Vancouver that are definitely not IKEA:

1. Suquet Home

Located in Vancouver’s trendy Yaletown neighbourhood near the corner of Nelson and Homer Street you’ll find Suquet Home. If you’re looking for a unique furniture store where you don’t just find the usual stuff in most furniture stores, this is the place to shop. Here you’ll find everything your home will need.
