Fall has arrived, and if the current weather patterns are any indication it’s going to be a wet one. Don’t let that get you down. Stay dry but spry with the King of Sports, and the Sport of Kings – bowling!

Don’t question it, just grab a ball and some ill-fitting shoes and head on down to one of these local lanes. Here’s where to go bowling in Metro Vancouver.

Commodore Bowling & Billiards

This Vancouver institution opened in 1930, and has remained a stalwart provider of good times in the decades since. On top of hosting parties, billiards, and a fully-licensed lounge, Commodore Bowling – as the name might suggest – has also got 5 pin bowling. Now it isn’t your classic Big Lebowski 10-pound ball sort of game, but it’s got balls and pins. Dig it.

This gargantuan facility can hold up to 300 people at once, so if you’ve got big plans for a corporate event, or some kind of small town election based on bowling prowess, then this is the place.

If that doesn’t impress you, then maybe nothing will. They’ve got bowling of the glow and bumper variety, party-hosting rooms, and arcade, and more.
