Vancouver, get ready, because the 11th annual BC Spot Prawn Festival is back.
You can now get your tickets and head to the False Creek Fishermen’s Wharf from 11 am to 3 pm on Saturday, May 13 to enjoy fresh-from-the-boat spot prawns served by chefs from the Lower Mainland.
Tickets to this event include a plate of three juicy BC spot prawns along with side dishes and fresh breads from Terra Breads. R&B Brewing and Evolve Cellars will be providing free beer and wine sampled in the 19+ tent of the festival.

In order to cut down on wait times, this year the crew at Spot Prawn Fest have designated four separate serving times that will be clearly marked festivalgoers’ individual tickets.
These times are:
- 11 am to noon
- noon to 1 pm
- 1 to 2 pm
- 2 to 3 pm
Organizers of Spot Prawn Fest urge patrons to arrive at the time designated on their ticket, because they will not be serving any earlier.
All the proceeds from ticket sales will support the Chefs’ Table Society of British Columbia. This event sells out every year, so be sure to get your tickets and secure your spot for this prawn-devouring occasion.
