When it comes to eating bacon, are you the one to beat?

If so, it’s time to bring your A-game to The Capital on Davie Street next month, for the best type of food competition: A bacon eating contest.

Taking place on Sunday, October 15, the contest at the Davie Street locale is not only your chance to stuff yourself with Mother Nature’s most wonderful meat creation, but a chance to help out a good cause at the same time.

The cost to enter the contest is $10, and proceeds from the event go to BC Children’s Hospital.

Of course, this being a contest, there are some basic ground rules in place:

  1. Teams are organized in heats and groups
  2. Each plate of bacon will weigh the same amount
  3. Each round will be 40 seconds long
  4. Each heat/group will have a winner and will face off against other winners until an “ultimate bacon champion” is crowned.

There is no better time or place to stuff yourself with as much bacon as you can, so don’t miss this opportunity to do just that.

The Capital Bacon Eating Contest
