Up to 10 cm of snow expected for Toronto on Monday

Dec 11 2017, 6:08 am

Earlier today, Environment Canada issued a Special Weather Statement for the City of Toronto.

The statement was released thanks to an Arctic cold front that’s going to sweep across Southern Ontario this evening and tomorrow. And that means snow for Toronto.

Currently, Environment Canada is forecasting that between 5 and 10 cm will hit the city tomorrow:

Mon, 11 Dec A mix of sun and cloud. Becoming cloudy late in the morning then snow. Amount 2 cm. High minus 3.
Night Snow. Amount 5 to 10 cm. Wind becoming northeast 20 km/h late in the evening. Temperature steady near minus 3.

However, in their Special Weather Statement they’ve added that “localized amounts of 10 to 15 cm are possible.”

Your commute home tomorrow night could be a long one. Let’s just hope everyone has their snow tires on.
