The final scheduled TTC subway closure of 2018 is this weekend

This Saturday, December 8, a portion of Line 2 between Kennedy and Victoria Park stations will be closed for track work and maintenance.

This is the TTC’s final scheduled subway closure for 2018 and weekend work will continue in the new year.

Shuttle buses will run throughout the closure and all stations will remain open for fare sales and transfers to surface routes.

The TTC says Wheel-Trans will be available upon request from any station. Customers can speak with a TTC staff member for more information about service frequency.

The transit authority is also encouraging any customers who have not yet switched to PRESTO to do so before January.
