Today is going to be the hottest day of the year so far in Toronto
We’ve been so excited about the weather in Toronto today that we’ve been talking about it since last week.
But hey, when you spend six months of the year waiting for the other six months to show up, it’s okay to get a little involved when summer finally decides to slide into your day.
Environment Canada currently has Toronto weather already sitting at a scorching 19.7°C as of 9 am this morning on route to a high of 29°C later this afternoon. The Weather Network, meanwhile, is showing the current temperature to be closer to 16°C before approaching the same high of 29°C later today.
But it’s the ‘feels like’ that we’re most interested in, with The Weather Network bumping that number up to a cool hot-like-summer 33°C:

While tomorrow is supposed to offer similar temperatures, the chance of thunderstorms could put a damper on the seasonal spell. So if you’re going to play hooky one day this week, make sure it’s today, Toronto.
