Update: It’s going to feel like nearly 40°C in Toronto next week

Yesterday we told you it was going to feel like 32°C in Toronto by the weekend.

Well, we were wrong.

The Weather Network is now forecasting it will feel like 36°C by Sunday, 37°C on Monday and 38°C by Tuesday. Which is to say, the city is going to experience close to a 40°C day next week. 

In June.

That ‘feels like’ is important too, as that’s what the temperature + humidex actually reflects. So while the thermostat may only read a high of 30°C next Tuesday, Toronto will feel several degrees hotter. 

Get ready for summer temperatures, Toronto – we know you’ve been waiting all spring for them to arrive.
