Winter is coming.

In fact, Environment Canada has just issued a winter weather travel advisory for Toronto given how snowy it’s supposed to be tomorrow.

Environment Canada is predicting that the city will be experiencing severe snowfall and rapidly falling temperatures this Thursday. These severe weather changes could affect road conditions later in the afternoon and into the evening.

According to the Weather Network, up to 30 cm of snow could hit parts of the GTA.

Special Weather Statement

A cold front is expected to track over Southern Ontario Thursday (November 9). As this front passes temperatures will drop and scattered rain showers will change to flurries.

As a result, untreated surfaces could become icy and slippery late Thursday afternoon into early evening affecting the evening commute.

Remember to dress warmly tomorrow and if you are on the roads, drive with caution.
