It feels 40°C warmer in Vancouver than Toronto right now

While we try to figure out how many layers are acceptable to wear in public, Vancouver seems to be basking in winter warmth.

As Toronto continues its bitter cold snap, with Environment Canada issuing an extreme cold alert citing “a prolonged period of very cold wind chills is expected,” Vancouverites are expecting rain today with a high of 7°C.

Remember 7°C? Those spring days, how we miss them.

Factoring in the windchill that Toronto is expecting, the temperature difference will be about 40°C.

To be fair, the weather will be mild there, but it’s also raining a lot.

Hey, at least we remember what the sun looks like… right?
