Toronto is still under a Winter Weather Travel Advisory, due to bands of flurries off Lake Ontario.
The advisory is in effect for today and overnight, while also carrying over into Tuesday.
According to Environment Canada, up to 5 cm of snow is possible for this afternoon, with more snow expected to arrive during the evening commute.
Those living closer to the lake will experience higher snowfall amounts of up to 10 cm due to enhancement off of Lake Ontario.
Toronto roads are expected to become snow covered and very icy. Visibilities are expected to be reduced at times in the snow bands.
If you’re planning on driving later today, make sure to drive with extreme caution and to give yourself plenty of time to get to your destination.
