Teen girl sexually assaulted at knife point in North York

The Toronto Police have requested the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a man wanted for sexually assaulting a teenage girl over the weekend.

According to police, on Sunday, September 30 at 8:30 pm, an 18-year-old woman was walking on Beecroft Road in the Yonge Street and Finch Avenue West area.

A man approached the woman and brandished a knife before sexually assaulting her.

Police say the woman was able to escape from the man and he fled the scene in an unknown direction.

The suspect is described as six-feet-tall, 30 to 40-years-old, cleanly shaven, wearing a black Tilley-style hat, and carrying a white shopping bag.

Police are reminding the public that sexual assault is any form of unwanted sexual contact, which includes, but is not limited to, kissing, grabbing, oral sex and penetration.
