A teen has suffered “very serious” injuries following an apparent machete attack in the city’s west end Thursday night.
According to police, the incident occurred near the intersection of St. Clair Avenue and Dufferin Street.
Police were called to the scene just after 9 pm and upon arrival, officers located a teen with serious injuries in an alleyway in the residential area.
The victim was then transported to a trauma centre by an emergency run.
Investigators located a machete at the scene and said there were reports that the two suspects were wearing masks.

This is the second violent machete attack to occur in Toronto in the past two months.
According to police, on September 19, a Toronto man allegedly stabbed another man to death with a machete in North York.
