Following a hot and extremely humid afternoon that led to a severe thunderstorm warning in the city, Toronto was hit by a brief, yet intense, storm.
As residents prepared to head home from work, they were greeted with dark, ominous clouds as the storm made its way into Toronto, which led to heavy downpours and gusty winds.
While most of the city stayed indoors, a few brave souls managed to go outside and capture the storm in all its glory.
