May 29 2018, 6:44 am

Hungry for something to do this weekend? Looking for a delicious way to break the fast following Maghrib?

This food festival focuses on the essential Middle Eastern street food featuring skewered meats slowly roasted on a vertical spit and then shaved onto flatbread!

We’re talking about Toronto Shawarma Festival and it’s on this weekend in the Canary District celebrating its second installment since its debut in the fall of 2017.

In addition to devouring spit-roasted meats, look forward to Middle Eastern-inspired desserts!
