Toronto Beaches boardwalk to be lit up with 80,000 lights tonight (PHOTOS)

So you think you spend a lot of time hanging holiday lights this time of the year, eh?

Well, meet Rick DeClute, owner of DeClute Real Estate based out of Toronto’s Beaches neighbourhood. For the past nine years, DeClute and his team have strung thousands of feet of the Beaches boardwalk with lights to celebrate their charitable cause Light Up The Beach, which supports The Michael Garron Hospital Foundation.

If you’re looking for a reason to get outside tonight, this is certainly it. Head east and enjoy live music, good company, Santa Claus (of course), and the amazing spectacle of more than 80,000 Christmas lights being turned on all at once.

Talk about walking the holiday walk…
