If you’re looking for something fun to do this weekend, we’ve got the perfect event for you.

This weekend, you can immerse yourself in the rich history of Japan as you experience its beautiful culture at the annual Japanese Winter Festival in Toronto.

Spend your Saturday afternoon at the William Doo Auditorium, where you can experience live Naginata performances and learn how to write calligraphy and other traditional Japanese crafts including folding origami and how to make karuta (Japanese playing cards).

The highlight, of course, is the delicious Japanese foods that will be available. Festival-goers can expect to try sushi, desserts and finger foods during the event.

The festivities will be happening at the William Doo Auditorium and tickets are $5 at the door.
