A huge multi-day party is planned for Honest Ed's before it's transformed forever

Nothing will really replace what Honest Ed’s has meant to Toronto.

But while it is sad to lose the Toronto staple at Bathurst and Bloor, the Centre for Social Innovation is making it a little easier for us to accept.

Before the transformation of the iconic landmark, the Centre is throwing “Toronto for Everyone,” a multi-day, multidisciplinary, immersive and interactive experience inside Honest Ed’s.

Taking place over the course of three days, from February 23 to 26, the organizers are hoping to bring together the best of Toronto in order to “co-create an inclusive experience which brings together individuals, communities, cultures, companies/organizations in a way that’s never been done before.”

“Toronto for Everyone” has an open call for Toronto creators to participate in next year’s massive event. For those looking for more information on how to get involved, there will be two information sessions by the Centre for Social Innovation: one is on Tuesday, November 22 at CSI Annex at 2 pm and Thursday, November 24 at CSI Regent Park at 6 pm.

It’s time to celebrate, and say farewell, to this incredible landmark! Honest Ed’s closes its doors permanently on December 31, 2016.

Farewell Honest Ed’s
