A massive design gathering began in Toronto on Thursday evening, kicking off the world’s first EDIT: Expo for Design, Innovation, & Technology.
The opening night gave a peak of the upcoming event, which features 10-days of unparalleled design that will unite dreamers and disruptors from across the globe.
In partnership with the United Nations Development Programme, EDIT is an immersive festival that will bring us one step closer to achieving the UNDP’s Sustainable Development Goals.
Exhibitions and events will take place over the next few days that involve everything from 3D-prints to drones, all in a 150,000-square-foot abandoned factory transformed into an ultramodern world where design, innovation and technology are the solutions to today’s grand challenges.
Serval talks and workshops are also scheduled during EDIT. Whether you’re looking for a quick taste of this event, a thrilling late-night experience, or a multi-day deep dive, there are plenty of ways to take part in the experience.
