Oct 11 2016, 11:49 pm

It’s chocolate time in the 6ix as the Toronto Chocolate Festival returns for its 11th year this month.

The Toronto city-wide event features our favourite food group in all its tasty forms.

The 23-day event begins on October 15 and continues through until November 6. Although the Chocolate Ball Gala is not taking place this year, other events are available to entertain, educate, and delight your tastebuds. And of course, a portion of the proceeds from select Toronto Chocolate Festival Events are donated to the Prostate & Breast Cancer Initiatives Fund which supports Gilda’s Club Greater Toronto, Willow Cancer Support Canada, Prostate Foundation of Canada, Credit Valley Hospital Foundation and Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation.

Events this year include:

Chocolicious, a tour de chocolat: Participating Chocolatiers, pastry shops and restaurants throughout the GTA will once again open their doors and invite visitors to taste their chocolate delights with once a year offerings and samplings.

The Chocolate Show: Taking place at Roy Thompson Hall on November 6. Chocolate Exhibitors will be on hand once again to showcase their product and services at this one-day showcase.

Chocolate Afternoon Tea: You can relax during the Toronto Chocolate Festival by visiting The King Edward Hotel. They will once again be offering up Afternoon Tea complemented with chocolates and chocolate pastries. A decadent afternoon break.
