Toronto’s 17th annual Chinatown Festival is back.

The staple at Dundas and Spadina returns this weekend and brings with it traditional dancing, food, art, and performances.

For two days, The Toronto Chinatown Festival will explore the theme “Meeting across the Milky Way,” which is a folktale about Chinese Valentine’s day that is officially dated on July 7th each year on the lunar calendar, according to organizers.

Traditionally, the Chinese also celebrate this day by practicing handicraft. So beyond the delicious eats, the Festival will host engaging performances alongside vendors as well as interactive activities that showcase Canada’s cultural and communal diversity.
