10 Toronto chefs to contend in charity boxing tournament this March

Boxing fans and Toronto diners might relish this rare opportunity to watch top chefs from across the city get punched.

Sure they can hold their own in the kitchen but can these Toronto chefs roll with the punches in the ring? Find out at FoodFight, presented by The Chef Collective in support of Second Harvest, at Daniel’s Spectrum this March.

The charity boxing tournament will see heavyweights from Toronto’s culinary scene contend in three rounds over six exciting matches while spectators can enjoy food and drink for purchase from top Toronto vendors.

Entering the ring are chefs Joe Friday (Grindz Food), Mike Ramos (Likos Hawaiian BBQ), Lorie Leung (Drake Properties), Stephanie Tucci (Nature’s Emporium), Tallis Voakes (Cara), Matt Basile (Fidel Gastro’s), Michael Hunter (Antler), Candice Mausner (The Fifth Social Club), Fiona Byrne (The Scullery), Luke Haines (Buca Yorkville) who have been training since October in preparation for fight night.

Where: Daniels Spectrum, 585 Dundas Street East, Toronto
Price: $35 to $50 – 50% of ticket sales will go towards Second Harvest.
