It’s time to get your fancy outfits on and charge up that phone.

The Toronto International Film Festival is just around the corner, and with its arrival comes heaps of A list celebrities. From the beauty of Ryan Gosling to the ruggedness of Oscar Isaac, here’s a short(ish) list for you to keep track of who’s in town.

Because you never know who you’ll see… in Yorkville between September 8 to 18.

Christian Bale: Known for Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy and his perfectly chiseled jawline. The once (and forever) Patrick Bateman is in town for The Promise.

Bryan Cranston: When you see his name does the Breaking Bad theme play in your head, too? Walter Cranston is in town for the international premiere of Wakefield.

Oscar Isaac: Known most recently for his role in Star Wars: The Force Awakens and his incredible good looks, Isaac is in town for The Promise – with Bale. A movie we clearly need to see.

Shia LaBeouf: Known for watching his own films in a theatre while filming himself watching his films in said theatre, LaBeouf brings his not so Shy-a ways to our city soon. Keep an eye out for this one, and his new film American Honey.

Justin Timberlake: Known for his role as a curly-blond-hair singer in boyband N Sync, our crush from the 90’s returns to wow us at TIFF. He’s in town for his concert doc Justin Timberlake + The Tennessee Kids.

Mark Wahlberg: The man who needs no introduction is in town for Deepwater Horizon.

Rooney Mara: Known for her recent performance in Carol and her incredible talent (Hello, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo!). She’s in town for The Secret Scripture.

Matthew McConaughey:  Alright, alright, alright. Matthew McConaughey is in town! Catch him in the animated comedy Sing.

Matt Damon: Known for recently returning to earth from Mars. This one time Martian is in town as a producer for Manchester by the Sea.

Woody Harrelson: Since 2014, Harrelson has been known as Detective Martin Hart in HBO’s “True Detective.” And we’re here still asking for more of that. So find him and ask him when he’s in town for LBJ.

Shailene Woodley: Known for her Divergent Series following, Woodley is also known to have made many cry in The Fault in Our Stars. She’s in town for Snowden.

Ewan McGregor: He’s known for Trainspotting and going on epic motorcycle rides for television shows. The Brit is in town for American Pastoral – his directorial debut.

Natalie Portman: Known for dancing her heart out in Black Swan in an Oscar-worthy performance, Portman is in town for Jackie.

Brie Larson: Known for still blowing our minds from her role in Room, Larson is also known for making us laugh in 21 Jump Street. She’s in town for her ’70s inspired film Free Fire.

Ryan Gosling: Known for putting Canadian male actors on the map, and making the coldest hearts cry in The NotebookI, Ryry is in his hometown for La La Land.

Adam Driver: Known as one of our favourite characters in HBO’s Girls – he was in something called Star Wars too. This new hipster heartthrob is in town for Paterson.

Jacob Tremblay: Known as that kid who steals the show at movie awards, and his epic portrayal the little boy in Room, Tremblay is back in Toronto for Burn your Maps.

Miles Teller: Known as that drummer guy in Whiplash and his boyish good looks, Teller is in town for Bleed for This.

Gael Garcia Bernal: The Mexican film actor, director, and producer is most known for his roles in The Motorcycle Diaries and Babel. He’s in town for Salt and Fire.

James Franco: Oh James Franco. Known for doing everything and anything, from art to theatre, and from writing to teaching, Franco is in town for his film In Dubious Battle, which he stars in and directed.

Emma Stone: Is it just us, or is Emma Stone forever the cool gal from Superbad? She’s since been also known for her role in Birdman, and will be in Toronto with RyGos for La La Land.

Rachel Weisz: Although she may not be known for her role in The Lobster, we highly recommend it! And Weisz, who never seems to pick a bad role, is in town for Denial.

Denzel Washington: Known for American Gangster, Glory, and of course, Training Day, Washington is arguably one of the biggest names in Hollywood. Catch him in town for The Magnificent Seven.

Cynthia Nixon: For any “Sex and the City” fans, Miranda Hobbs is back. Nixon plays legendary poet Emily Dickinson in A Quiet Passion.

Scarlett Johansson: Known for being the highest-grossing actress of all time, and for her roles as Black Widow in the Captain America and Avengers films, she’s in town for Sing.
