In Toronto, a Recipe for Change goes something like:
Just take 30 sweet and savoury dishes, introduce a generous helping of healthy appetites and charitable souls. Let simmer for three hours. Then donate all the money towards a really good cause.
Now in its eighth year, Recipe for Change will raise funds for Foodshare’s vital food literacy work and school food and farm programs. It’s an ambulatory ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT affair promising chefs, brewers, vintners serving up their favourite dishes in the historic St. Lawrence Market district.
