Let’s face it, when you’re Canadian, you need these two things to survive our cold winters (and hot summers): Poutine and lip balm. Just when we’d all but resigned ourselves to a Canada wherein these two needs couldn’t be met in one fell swoop, enter the Wild Prairie Soap Company‘s answer to our hoser-ish prayers: Poutine Lip Balm.
The Edmonton company teamed up with local poutinerie La Poutine for this lip smackingly delicious product. The restaurant, which also operates a food truck, dishes up 20 varieties of the Canadian staple, from Vegan to Cheeseburger.
You can’t doubt Wild Prairie’s patriotism; their line of lip balms includes the Oh Canada (with a maple scent), and they’ve got a bar soap made with beer and hops (to pair with your poutine lips, perhaps?).
Right now the Poutine Lip Balm is only available in person at La Poutine, which means you can get your hands (err, mouth?) on some if you are Canadian enough to visit Edmonton in the winter.
