19 unbelievable photos of Nathan Phillips Square during Nuit Blanche

Oct 3 2016, 9:14 pm

If you were out on Saturday night, you know that Nathan Phillips Square was the beating heart of Nuit Blanche 2016.

Or, perhaps we should say, the Dying Sun of Nuit Blanche.

The massive ball recreating the life cycle of our sun was on full display throughout the night and seems as though it was on everyone’s Nuit Blanche Instagram bucketlist. Though it’s not hard to see why (see the photos below).

Of course, Pneuma, with its images seemingly coming alive between Nathan Phillips Square’s pool’s Freedom Arches, was equally as breathtaking.

So whether you were there and simply want to relive the magic, or you need to ssee what you missed, here are 19 pictures from Nathan Phillips Square on Nuit Blanche that will make you wish it looked like this every night of the year.
