This is what the new Queen Street pedestrian bridge looks like (PHOTOS)

The new pedestrian bridge over Queen Street is now in place.

The glass tunnel, designed by architects WilkinsonEyre, connects the CF Toronto Eaton Centre to flagship locations of Hudson’s Bay and Saks Fifth Avenue and replaces the former footpath with a sleek new look described by Dominic Bettison at WilkinsonEyre as a “metaphorical ‘handshake’ extending out over Queen Street.”

The footpath has yet to open to the public, but installation took place over the weekend. See what Queen West looks like now following the upgrade.
