Open Roof Festival returns to Toronto for Summer 2018

One of Toronto’s summer faves has confirmed its return.

Open Roof Festival will be back for its ninth season this June, and the festival has announced its relocating to a new venue.

Starting June 20, Open Roof Festival will feature live music and film screenings with food and drinks, every Wednesday until August 22. The venue is moving from Sudbury Street to Sterling Road in the Lower Junction Triangle near the new site of MOCA (Museum of Contemporary Art).

Although films have yet to be announced, event dates this summer will be on the following evenings:

Wednesday, June 20 (Opening Night Celebration)
Wednesday, June 27
Wednesday, July 4
Wednesday, July 11
Wednesday, July 18
Wednesday, July 25
Wednesday, August 1
Wednesday, August 8
Wednesday, August 15
Wednesday, August 22 (Closing Night Celebration)

Tickets are generally available online in advance, as well as from the on-site box office which opens at 7 pm for cash-only tickets. Musical guests perform at 8 pm nightly while screenings commence around 9 pm.
