North Shore Pie Co. is moving out of Leaside in the new year
Leaside’s North Shore Pies Co. is moving out of the neighbourhood.
The source for hand-crafted Kiwi-style hand pies and an equally abundant selection of sweet offerings is relocating to Etobicoke on Shorncliffe Road.
The new warehouse will be equipped to handle bulk orders for banquets, tournaments, family gatherings, and whatnot. Also expect a 20-seat retail option so you can still get a hot pie to-go, or for immediate consumption.
Roncesvalles residents need not worry. The outpost at 43 Roncesvalles Avenue is staying put and will become the flagship retail location.
Those not already familiar with North Shore Pie Co. should get to know it.
The roster of individual-sized savoury pies includes flakey crusts filled with steak and mushroom, Thai chicken curry, bacon and egg, and 15 other options.
Sweet pies are available in a seasonal variety of flavours plus you’ll find niche baked goods like Afghan cookies and lamingtons.
The new shop is expected to open on January 15.
