The start of a new month brings some new TV shows and movies filming right here in Toronto. Don’t miss out on all the action ⁠– you just never know when you might catch a glimpse of the cameras rolling.

Here are 13 movies and TV shows to catch filming in Toronto this November.

The Craft

Get ready to be seriously spooky this month! On location in the city since October, The Craft will wrap up filming near the end of November. While there haven’t been many details released, the movie will be a remake of the 1996 original.

American Gods – Season 3

American Gods is filming in Toronto this November through to March for its third season. Based on the 2001 novel by Neil Gaiman, the show will be on location all the way until March of next year, giving you plenty of time to catch the show in action!

The Most Dangerous Game – Season 1

While there haven’t been many details released just yet and currently this production is going under a code name of Dodge & Miles. The new series will be in production in Toronto till the end of November, and stars Liam Hemsworth and Christoph Waltz.

What We Do in the Shadows – Season 2

What We Do in the Shadows will be back on location in Toronto this month to film for its second season. Production begins at the beginning of November and will continue into December. Set in Staten Island, the series is about four vampire roommates who have lived together for years and years.

This Canadian sketch comedy series will be back on location in Toronto this November filming for season five. Baroness von Sketch Show stars Second City alumni Carolyn Taylor, Aurora Browne, Jennifer Whalen, and Meredith MacNeill, who are all executive producers of this all-female series.

The Expanse – Season 5

After many voiced their mixed emotions over the show being cancelled, Amazon picked up The Expanse last year for another season. In season five, fans will see another season of this space war drama filming in Toronto this November to February.

Hardy Boys – Season 1

Feeling nostalgic? Hardy Boys sets up production in the Port Hope area and will be on location into January. The new series is said to be a total remake of the books by the same name and is set to air on the streaming platform Hulu.

In the Dark – Season 2

In the Dark will be back on location in Toronto this November filming for season two, and will continue into January. In the first season, the series followed a young blind woman who believes she found the corpse of her drug-dealing friend. When the police don’t believe her story, she sets out with her dog to find the killer on her own.

Based on the comic book series The Umbrella Academy by Gerard Way, this series will be filming in Toronto for its second season through to mid-November. Notable cast members include Ellen Page and Tom Hopper.

Good Witch – Season 6

Good Witch will be in Toronto this month filming for its sixth season through to December. Based upon the Good Witch movie franchise, Catherine Bell returns to her role as Cassie Nightingale in the series alongside her daughter Grace played by Bailee Madison.

Star Trek Discovery – Season 3

Star Trek: Discovery will be filming in Toronto this month for its third season and will continue into December. Commonly referred to by its code name Green Harvest, the series is set approximately 10 years before the original Star Trek series and stars Sonequa Martin-Green and Doug Jones among others.

Private Eyes – Season 4

Private Eyes will be on location in Toronto filming for its fourth season till mid-November. Starring Jason Priestley and Cindy Sampson as the show’s lead characters, the series follows a former hockey player turned detective who partners with a private investigator to solve crimes.

Murdoch Mysteries is on location in Toronto until the middle of November. Starring Yannick Bisson, Hélène Joy, and Jonny Harris, this Canadian drama series follows Toronto-based detective William Murdoch as he solves crimes during the 1890s and early 1900s.
