Winter is coming! And in anticipation of the snowy days ahead, Horseshoe Resort has gone ahead and DOUBLED its snow tubing run for the 2017/18 season in a move that makes it “the longest tube hill in Ontario.”

The ski resort just one hour from Toronto has added an extra 1,200 feet to its five-chute hill that now also boasts TWO exhilarating drops.

Snow tubing, for the uninitiated, offers the perfect outdoor activity on a winter day that requires no experience, skill, or equipment. You don’t even have to walk back up after flying down the hill on an inflatable Cheerio… there’s a magic carpet that’ll bring you back up to the top so you can do it again… and again… and again.

Opening day at the resort is December 9, and throughout the season unlimited tubing costs $30 from 10 am to 9 pm, Friday to Sunday, while evening tubing Tuesday to Thursday from 4 pm to 9 pm will only set you back $15.

Stay tuned for the possible return of Tube & Dine Thursdays too – last year the late winter promotion paired unlimited tubing with an all-you-can-eat pasta bar!
