Toronto taqueria La Carnita opens first international location in US
Taqueria chain La Carnita already operates four locations in Toronto and an outpost in Winnipeg, and now the locally-born brand is expanding south with its first international outpost.

Located inside the Baltimore–Washington International Airport in Maryland, the restaurant has set-up shop to dish out its signature menu of “Mexican street food with a Gringo twist.”

The restaurant belongs to the Monarchs & Misfits family of restaurants, also behind Toronto’s Home of the Brave, Good Fortune Bar, and Sweet Jesus – the epic ice cream purveyor that’s also rapidly expanding across Canada and beyond with locations planned as far west as Edmonton, Alberta, and already operating as far east as Dubai.
