Toronto is getting a tiramisu-centric ice cream store

Jul 26 2017, 11:02 pm

Straight from Seoul to the streets of Toronto, Kiss The Tiramisu opening soon in Kensington Market at 160 Baldwin Street.

A cult favourite in Korea, the tiramisu-centric ice cream store originates in Hongdae and already boasts a dozen locations in Korea as well as outposts in Thailand, China, Malaysia, and The Philippines.

The chain of sweet shops is best known for its menu of tiramisu flavoured treats with a twist.

Expect everything from cakes and ice cream parfaits to chocolates and scones, and not just in the classic coffee-flavoured Italian custard renditions either. Signature offerings include a Nutella-banana-tiramisu cake and swirls of matcha-tiramisu ice cream.

Good thing too. Toronto doesn’t have nearly enough ice cream shops.
