Kathleen Wynne is Canada’s least popular premier, as her job performance rating among Ontarians has ranked at a mere 15% approval rating.

According to the latest Angus Reid Poll, while she’s the lowest ranked among premieres, Wynne’s approval has increased slightly from March 2017 when her ratings hit an all-time low of 12%.

In about a year, Ontarians will head to the polls. Wynne’s government is trying to win back support by introducing a plan to raise the minimum wage from $11.40 to $14 an hour in 2018, and $15 in 2019.

Wynne also launched the “Ontario’s Fair Hydro Plan” decreasing hydro rates in the province. When she made the announcement on March 2, Wynne called it “the largest cut to electricity rates in the history of Ontario.”

The premier’s approval rating was at its highest back in June 2013 when she was newly elected into office.
