People have been playing hockey on Toronto Harbour ice (PHOTOS)

A recent cold snap in Toronto has undoubtedly led to some grumpy Torontonians.

For some locals, however, the frigid temperatures created the perfect opportunity to lace up the old skates and enjoy a game of traditional shinny.

And no, we don’t mean at one of the city’s many outdoor skating rinks…

These locals geared up and headed to the frozen Toronto harbour near the island for an afternoon game of hockey and the photos are nothing short of incredible.
