Heated dispute over feet on subway seat breaks out on TTC (VIDEO)

Sometimes, you just wanna sit back, relax and put your feet up, but the subway may not be the best place to do that.

A two-minute video was uploaded onto Facebook on Sunday, showing a heated argument between a younger man with his feet on the subway seat, and a woman sitting against his legs.

“Get off me! Get the f**k off me,” the man says. The woman, who refuses to move, tells him that she is trying to explain to him that his feet should not be on the seat.

According to TTC bylaws, “No person shall place his or her foot or feet on a vehicle seat or lay thereon any object or substance that may soil it.” Technically the woman is not wrong about the rules, but she certainly gets up-close and personal about it.

The dispute goes on and gets even more heated. “Do you own the subway? Let me ask you a serious question, do you own the subway?” the man asks.

The woman stands her ground and refuses to move. “We all need to live together together,” she tells him.

The man pretty much loses his cool from there.  “I don’t care! Is there a f**king rule, right here that says I can’t put my feet right there?”

Well, turns out there is a rule. But the lady’s attempt to send a message just didn’t go the way she expected. The man pushes her to get her to move and she pulls the emergency strip on the train. The argument ends with the man getting up and telling the woman that he is “about to spit in (her) f**king face.”

Yikes. Maybe it’s best just to take your feet off of the seat next time.
