Here’s one way to celebrate Canada’s 150th birthday early: free poutine.
There will be a free poutine pop-up in Toronto on June 23 as part of craft brewer Innis & Gunn’s Maple & Thistle Ale launch. And the Scottish brewer is mixing both Canadian and Scot traditions to create the Haggis Poutine.
The one day pop-up will be at a Maple & Thistle food truck at Liberty Village, and the first 150 people to show up will get a free bottle of Maple & Thistle to take home.
So if you’re a fan of haggis, and beer, might want to head to the west end next week.
