There's a huge Grilled Cheese Challenge in Toronto next month
If you consider grilled cheese sandwiches to be the best thing since sliced bread then this is the food fest for you!
Toronto’s annual Grilled Cheese Challenge presented by the Lakeshore Village BIA is taking place this June and will see 16 sandwich makers compete for the top prize of $1,000 voted by a panel of judges. Meanwhile, attendees can vote on the Peoples’ Choice Award for the best tasting, best gourmet, and most unique entries.
Challengers include Breakfast Room, Delicia Bakery & Pastry, FBI Pizza, Kitchen on 6th, Kungfu Dawg, Meltwich Food Co., Stuff’D Grilled Cheese and Tots, and more!
In addition to stuffing cheesy sandwiches in your face, look forward to a beer garden, market vendors, live music, classic cars, kids’ zone with rides and games, and more!
