Herb & Ladle

Open Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays in the Hamilton Farmers’ Market, this healthy stall offers a petit breakfast from 8:30 am to 11 am. For $5 including tax, choose between a yogurt parfait or a bowl of oatmeal and select your toppings from mason jars: fresh fruits, nuts, seeds, coconut, flax, and more. It comes with a side too: a piece of baguette, water bottle, or mandarin orange.

Saint James is one of those places with a $13 (darn good) avocado toast with roast pepper, feta, a fried egg, salsa verde and lentil. Those on a budget can still partake though, $6 buys a delicious breakfast sandwich called The Drive Thru that beats anything you can get through a window: hash brown, sausage patty, fried egg, American cheese, and chili mayo sandwiched between an English muffin.
