The holiday season is upon us and already Toronto businesses are banding together to spread the festive spirit to those in need.

Grocery retailers Summerhill Market and Instabuggy are teaming up to give away 200 free turkey dinners in exchange for a pay-what-you-can donation in support of Youth Without Shelter, an emergency residence serving more than 1,000 homeless youth in the GTA.

“We deliver so many meals all over the city, especially around the holidays. So this year we wanted to offer our customers a free taste of the best Thanksgiving dinner in Toronto, while also supporting those without a home during the holidays,” said Instabuggy co-founder Julian Gleizer in a press release.

The scratch-made dinner complete with individual servings of white and dark meat, sage-apple stuffing, orange-cranberry sauce, buttermilk mashed potatoes, and maple-roasted butternut squash is available for online ordering (while supplies last) starting at 7 am on Friday, October 7.

They’ll even deliver the meal straight to your doorstep over the holidays.
