Today is National Coffee Day.

Which is weird ’cause we thought every day was National Coffee Day.

But no, the internet tells us that low and behold, Thursday, September 29 is ‘officially’ National Coffee Day and celebrating with a cup of the addictively delicious hot drink is… something we were totally going to do anyway.

Here’s where to get your caffeine fix for FREE on National Coffee Day in Toronto.

  • Starting today, Tim Hortons is releasing 100 special-edition Tim Cards across the nation encouraging recipients to treat themselves and then pay it forward. Each card expires after ten days, or 10,000 cups.
  • Krispy Kreme celebrates all day at their three Toronto outlets by giving out free coffee and free original glazed doughnuts.
  • Get a free small coffee in a choice of rich blends at Coffee Culture today, the chain of North American coffee houses boasts locations throughout the GTA.
  • 7-Eleven Canada has extended National Coffee Day into a week-long celebration in an effort to pump up their rewards app. It’s “Free Coffee Week” now through October 1 at participating 7-Eleven locations. More details are available online.
