Toronto's Field Trip Festival releases 2017 lineup

Festival season is almost upon us.

And to kick things off in June, Toronto’s Field Trip is back for its fifth year, and the line up for 2017 just dropped.

Indie faves Broken Social Scene will headline the first day of the festival on Saturday, June 3, while French indie giants Phoenix will headline on Sunday, June 4.

The festival bill also includes Feist, A Tribe Called Red, Portugal. the Man, BADBADNOTGOOD, the Pharcyde, Cloud Nothings, Thundercat, James Vincent McMorrow, Joseph, Tei Shi, Timber Timbre, LP, Royal Canoe, Harrison, Hannah Georgas, Overcoats, Bernice, Walrus, Nefe and Jaunt.

Besides the music, Field Trip has always been rich in family-friendly programming, comedy, and an exploration of the local culinary scene. The festival continues its drive for the love of community and discovery, with food and activities integrated in collaborative explorations on themes of visual art, technology, and fashion.

The two-day festival takes place in the heart of Toronto at Fort York and Garrison Common.

Tickets for Field Trip go on sale Friday, March 10 at 10 am via Field Trip’s website.
