The hottest places to get vegan ice cream in Toronto right now

Jul 10 2020, 6:42 pm

Itā€™s ice cream szn, but for the lactose intolerant, this time of year might feel more focused on the sweltering heat than the milky refreshments that offer respite from it.

But those adverse to dairy are in luck, because there are plenty of Toronto spots offering up dairy-free versions of summer’s favourite treat.

If you’ve been craving ice cream but not the upset tummy that can sometimes follow, drop by one of these spots for a vegan take on the refreshing and cooling dessert:

Made with an oat base and available in rotating flavours plus vanilla, of course, drop by this Kensington Market bakery for a cup of the good stuff… or ask for it to be plopped atop a cinnamon bun.
