Chinese chain Dagu Rice Noodles opening 2 Toronto restaurants
It’s been a good week for anyone pining for a taste of their favourite Chinese restaurant chains.
First Toronto saw the opening of the first North American location of QJD Peking Duck, and now Dagu Rice Noodle has announced that not just one but TWO new eateries will be opening soon in the GTA.
Billed as “China’s most popular noodle brand,” the restaurant’s social media accounts reveal that locations are going in downtown at Bay and Dundas, as well as at Steeles and Warden.
The name of the Shanghai-born brand originates from the custom of celebratory drumming as a worthy and historic cause to enjoy with bowls of noodles and hot soup.

Once open, expect a menu offering an expansive selection of snack foods including fried chicken, along with the signature noodles swimming in beef or tomato-based broths along with rice bowls served in hot stone pots.
