Bike Share Toronto offering free rides on election day

Election day is a week away in Toronto. And to help get voters to polls, Bike Share Toronto is offering free rides.

On Monday, October 22, in an effort to help and encourage Torontonians to travel to their voting locations, Bike Share Toronto is hosting a Free Ride Day for the 2018 Municipal Election.

Voters can pick up a FREE Single Trip pass to get to a voting station on time.

According to Bike Share Toronto, you can redeem your $0 single trip pass by:

1) Going to any of the 360 Bike Share stations. Find your nearest station on theĀ System MapĀ page or by downloading CycleFinder or Transit app.

2) Select ā€œBuy a Passā€ on a kiosk touch screen and select ā€œ$0 Single Trip,ā€ then insert your credit card and follow the on-screen instructions. You can also obtain your pass on CycleFinder or Transit by selecting ā€œUnlock bikeā€ then ā€œBuy a Plan.ā€

3) After registration is complete, enter your 5-digit ride code on any dock with an available bike and start riding.

4) Ride through Toronto for up to a maximum of 30 minutes with a Single Trip pass. Note that overage fees will apply for trips exceeding 30 minutes in length.
