The South might get all the glory when it comes to BBQ, but here in Toronto we know there’s a whole world of slow-smoked and grilled meats to devour.

BBQ Eats is Toronto’s newest cross-cultural culinary event billing big, bold BBQ flavours from across the globe.

Taking place the weekend of June 9 and 10, the event is expected to attract 60,000 BBQ-loving Torontonians to Ontario Place. Admission will be FREE.

It’s the latest offering from the team behind Mac and Cheese Festival and attendees should expect ample eating opportunities, BBQ cooking classes, beer and wine pairings for BBQ, and an epic BBQ battle that will see pit masters and grill chefs compete for a $10,000 grand prize.

BBQ Eats Festival

When: June 9, 6 pm to midnight; June 10, noon to midnight; June 11, noon to 7 pm
