Toronto’s first-ever Apple Harvest Festival is on this weekend.

The first-time festival presented by the Brickworks Ciderhouse takes place at the Evergreen Brick Works at the Saturday Farmers Market and Sunday Artisan Market on September 22 and 23.

The alternative to day-tripping to an orchard, this harvest-time celebration focuses on local Ontario apples and offers food and drink for sale including plenty of baked goods and local cider and craft beers in the Sipping Container.

In addition to eating, attendees can drop by the Taste Education Table for taste testing and learning about the different types of Ontario apples, or participate in the Harvest Apple Photo Scavenger Hunt.

Apple Harvest Festival
