In the age of on-demand delivery apps like UberEats and Foodora, Dial-A-Bottle feels like a dinasour. For those that would prefer to get drinks delivered without the phone-call, there’s a new app for that in Toronto.

Runner, released its smartphone app this week for iOS and Desktop devices and is now offering Torontonians an on-demand delivery service offering a selection of wines, spirits, beers, canned cocktails, and coolers delivered to your doorstep in two hours or less.

“Runner was designed with the end consumer in mind and with a core focus on making it as easy as possible to get alcohol to your door with no minimums, no calls required, and no wait time,” said Runner co-founder, Jake MacDougall in a press release. “We take pride in our ability to deliver the largest selection of alcohol in Toronto, so you know that you’re never sacrificing options for convenience.”

The app is free to download, offers order tracking, and doesn’t require any minimum purchase, though the delivery fees (from under $10) apply.

Torontonians can currently order to any residence or hotel north of the lake, south of Eglinton Avenue, between Keele and Woodbine. Sounds ideal for those days when you don’t want to leave the house.

Daily Hive readers can get $10 off their first order with the promo code DHIVE.
